What kind of data does HangingRoad deliver? +
Domain-level technographic migration signals — automated detections of technology switches and adoption events on publicly accessible websites. We detect when a company migrates platforms, adopts a new CRM, or adds a payment provider. We do not deliver personal data (names, emails, phone numbers).
How accurate are the signals? +
Signals are generated by automated crawling and fingerprinting. They may contain false positives or detection errors. A detected technology change does not guarantee the company is currently using the detected technology. You are responsible for verifying signals before use in outreach or targeting. Scores (0–100) are algorithmic estimates, not objective assessments.
Is this GDPR compliant? +
HangingRoad delivers domain-level data only — not personal data as defined under GDPR. If you enrich our signals with personal data from other sources, you become the Data Controller for that processing and are responsible for establishing a lawful basis (e.g. Legitimate Interest under Art. 6(1)(f)). A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
What can I use the data for? +
Permitted: B2B sales prospecting, marketing audience targeting, competitive intelligence, pipeline prioritisation. What is the delivery cadence? +
Weekly CSV delivery every Monday by 21:00 CET. In case of a processing failure you’ll be notified within 24 hours. Data freshness: detection events are within 7 days of delivery date, based on crawl cadence.
